As the others engaged in battle, Arc, Styx and Luna finished off the Mind Flayers in their area. So they decided to press forward and pick off the wounded Mind Flayers along the way. Arc enchanted his great sword with lightning, which made it easier to cleave his enemies in half as they attacked. Luna of course use her explosive metal rats to attack the Mind Flayers trying to attack from the sides or behind them.

Then Styx used her scouting skills to detect the enemy's were abouts. She then warned Arc and Luna that their were more enemies in the nautiloid ship waiting to ambush them. Luna then took advantage of the situation and sent a lot of her explosive metal rats into the ship and attack the ambushers before they exploded. After the explosion the air filled with screaming from the wounded Mind Flayers and the sound of a few bodies flying out of the ship and exploding on the ground.

The ground was covered in Mind Flayer blood and guts from all the carnage. The battle was both long and bloody as the Mind Flayers were losing their advantage they had earlier. Now they were surrounded and taking heavy losses from both sides and their ambush was not only discovered but also destroyed. They tried to regroup but were attacked from their flank each time and it cost them dearly.
