Choices

Shadowfang went into the ship after the exploding rats exploded. Impressive mechanical genius. The aesthetics...that's a choice. He didn't give any attackers a chance. He came across a room with several pods, each pod had an occupant. The first few occupants were a Mind Flayer. He stabbed them through the pod into the faces of the Mind Flayers. The last two contained occupants who had not transformed yet.

He left them flailing and begging for help. He went to the people who helped defeat the Mind Flayers. "We have two victims inside the conversion pods. Is there a bard or cleric who knows Resurrection, a druid that can Reincarnate, or a bard, cleric, or paladin that knows Zone of Truth?" I kinda hope they have resurrection, never seen someone reincarnate before.
