Brief History

Shi’za served under Voss for most of her life. She started serving under him shortly after the War of the Comet and the death of Orpheus. She served off and on in one realm or another but spent most of her time in the Astral Plane where she didn’t age. It wasn’t until after the Mind Flayers made a play for Faerûn that she learned that Orpheus was still alive, and Voss sought to free him. Voss led his men into battle against the Mind Flayers at the Battle of Baldur’s Gate. When she learned that Lae’zel allowed a Mind Flayer to kill Orpheus while imprisoned and unable to fight back she was ready to kill the traitor and all that served with her. Voss was the only one who could stay her hand.

During the Battle of Baldur’s Gate their allies responsible for the death of Orpheus betrayed them and allowed the Emperor to take control of the Netherbrain. Voss continued the fight but eventually fell in battle, she managed to recover Voss’ sword. During the battle, Zirliclas Shi’za’s dragon was severely injured. The fight was over everyone fled. Zirliclas eventually crash-landed and died. Shi’za herself was seriously injured and captured by a band of raiders.
