New Course

After Luna finished fixing up, the Nautiloid ship Tav gave everyone the option to not join them on the ship. There were some that were not comfortable with taking the ship. Tav gave them the wagons and some of the supplies she tasked them with visiting several cities starting with Silverymoon.

Since the team split up into two groups it made it easier to visit their destinations faster. The very idea of setting foot onboard a Nautiloid scared a lot of folks, especially if they had to fight Mind Flayers in the past. So many preferred to stick to the wagons and travel at their own pace. Arc was fascinated by Luna’s ingenuity and level of skill. She managed to rebuild a broken ship and substitute the engine with a clear plan. Styx was highly impressed as she complimented Luna a lot. Luna was a bit embarrassed but accepted the compliments. Even Frost was surprised by Luna’s accomplishment. Of course Styx nagged her dead beat dad to pull his weight around for the team. He chuckled as he began to play on his lute.

Styx rolled her eyes up as her dead beat dad was being himself. Luna shook her head and went to help Bobby with controls and direction.

Once they were ready to take off, Tav looked at Bobby and Luna. She wasn't sure which one to speak to. She decided to just ask both at the same time to head towards Yardar.

"So what should we call the ship? I am taking suggestions." Tav announced to everyone.

Bobby looked at Luna for the answer since he was just her familiar and the pilot of the ship. Luna pondered for a bit, then she looked up and said, “I think the name Dagon matches this ship.” Arc asked, “Isn’t that the name of the fish god of weather?” Luna nodded as she replied, ”Something like that. I figured it matches the ship after my redesign.” Styx nodded as she said, “It does indeed match.” Then Luna had Bobby enter the coordinates for Yardar before they lifted off and began flying to their destination. It was a new experience to fly in a ship for many of the team members.
