Apothecary, Assistant, and Amorousness

Tav grabbed a cart and extracted all the teeth and eyes from the dragon corpse. She threw the teeth, eyes, and the dragon's family jewels into the cart. When they arrived at Yartar, Tav addressed everyone. "If you leave the ship, be back by sundown. Shadowfang and Demonsbane. Unless you have business in town, I would like for you two to stay here and guard the ship."

Tav took the teeth and the family jewels to an apothecary she knew. "Hey! 'Pothecary got some goodies for you." The apothecary came out from the back with bloody gloves. "His eyes went wide. "Damn girl. You remembered. I am touched you remembered." The apothecary practically skipped over to her and the goodies. He lifted the jewels. "Name your price." Tav rubbed her hand on his cheek. "Bag of holding, whatever potions, ointments, drugs, you think an adventuring party might need. Plus, some of the special stuff you're gonna make from this. I gotta keep one of the eyes. The Waterbaron wants proof that the dragon is dead." The apothecary looked a little upset. "That's fine. I'll hopefully get it from the Waterbaron later. Come by later this afternoon, and everything will be ready.

The apothecary then changed the subject. "I noticed your change." He said, glancing down at her lower legs. "Do you mind if I take a look?" Tav sat down. The apothecary lifted one leg into his lap and removed the prosthetic. "How?" Tav didn't like to talk about it. "Lava." The apothecary gently rubbed it. It was bloody, tender, and bruised. "Amputation was done in the field by an amateur, I am guessing." Tav just shook her head. "I'll be right back." The apothecary left and came back. He began rubbing an ointment into her stubs. The tingling caused by the ointment was very pleasurable. He bandaged the stubs. "Do not use the ointment anywhere else. I know you will be tempted." He then attached a leather patch to the stub. "This will prevent any further irritation and should be more comfortable. Make sure to change the bandage and apply the ointment at least once a day. More if necessary." He reattached her prosthetics. Tav stood up. "So much better, thanks."

She grabbed one of the dragon's eyes and went to the Waterbaron's office. She spoke to the Waterbaron's assistant. "The Waterbaron thanks you. As per the treaty and your agreement, Yartar will join the fight." Tav started to leave. "Oh, one more thing. If the Waterbaron doesn't want the eye, an apothecary friend of mine will want it." The assistant looked up from her stack of papers. "We know the apothecary you speak of. He can have it. If you please, could you take it back to him?" Tav grabbed the eye and dropped it off. She goofed around in town. She saw Stacy, an old friend in town who was now working as a coin lass. While they were eating a late lunch, a frequent client of Stacy's propositioned them. Stacy looked at Tav. Tav checked out Stacy's client. Tav turned to Stacy. "How big?" Stacy gestured. "Really? That big! I haven't seen one that big in quite a while." Stacy stood up. "Why don't the two of you get to know each other then. You'll love his place." Tav left with the client.
