Physical Appearance

Ch’Truta is tall and slim, toned and muscle bound, from living off the land. His dark hair and beard are enhanced by the black painted eyes, meant to be menacing, to warn others that Ch’Truta was a force with which to reckon.

ChTruta’s dark eyes seem to penetrate others, as if attempting to reaching into their soul. His commune with the spirits give his m his answers.

Personality and interests

Ch’Truta is a seeker of truth. He utilizes the plants of the swamp to assist him in reaching the realm of the spirits, who give him advanced knowledge of things to come. Since the spirits have sent him to join the horde, Ch’Truta has given himself to Islana. He now seeks the guidance of the Twins for their approval of his relationship with Islana.

Skills

Ch’Truta has knowledge of the poisons the plants and animals of the swamp has. He has used their fruit to help his brood to survive.

Ch’Truta has also realized the poisons in small doses over time has caused him to build immunity to their effects.

Ch’Truta has the ability to go into a trance, which causes him to see things coming and hearing from the spirits of the swamp. Since joining the horde, he now seeks this same guidance from the Twins.

Ch’Truta has a working knowledge of the healing plants of the swamp.

Background

Ch’Truta is the Shaman of his brood in Still Valley. It is he that ensures that the story of his people move forward. He sees the coming future and warns his people of what is coming. He believes it is the Swamp Spirits that share this knowledge with him, allowing the brood to thrive instead of survive. It is his wise guidance that convinced his brood not to be alone in the swamp, especially at night.

The spirits have guided Ch’Truta to follow Islana and the horde to push the newcomers out of Arcadia. He realizes that the changes they bring, especially outlawing magik, will not be good for the people and their symbiotic relationship with the land. He obeys the spirits and finds the charismatic redhead.

Ch’Truta fell in love with the young girl, 15 years his junior. They coupled together and became one. Now, they seek to officially announce their bonding. While the Sister, which at times possess Islana protest, the spirits of the swamp and the Twins have blessed the joining.
