Boat Trip

Once the Dagon was on the move, Tav began imagining scenarios. She called Luna over. "From your experience fixing up this ship. How close can we target with these weapons without the Dagon or the crew getting hit by our weapon fire? I am trying to figure out strategies for dealing with another spelljammer trying to board us."

Luna pondered as she rubbed her chin a bit. Then she replied, “Well depending on a few adjustments I’d say anywhere from 500 yards to 1,200 yards. I mean we can still use the Ballistas if we can adjust for the wind and range. However if we are going to be fighting large numbers I think we should use a different type of weapon.”
Arc was curious as he asked, “What weapon would be better than what we have?” Luna replied, “I found an old and tattered blue print some years ago and it got me thinking of its best use. If we give up some range I can make a ballista that launches 100 bolts at once. The downside is the slow reload time but if I make a few of them and have Bobby handle the reloading through the system, I think we can fight an army while in the sky. What do you think?”

Vallana was listening to her father's music.

Frost was doing his best to entertain the others, especially his daughters, Vallana and Styx. Granted he was a dead beat dad, he was still skilled Bard.

Fera during the downtime set up a bar on the Dagon. It was finally open. "Welcome to the Nat20." She had an ulterior motive for this bar.

Luna and Arc were glad Fera was entertaining herself away from them.

Demonsbane and Shi'za were fighting, some people thought they practicing others thought Shi'za was pissed at Demonsbane. Everyone watching was betting on it. Fera was collecting the money, keeping ten percent of all bets for herself as the neutral party.

This bought was good for the crew to blow off some steam from their stress buildup. The mission alone was very hard but it was important to do some training and team exercises.

Shadowfang was standing at the front of the ship. Staring out into vast emptiness of the sky.

As he looked as the sky he could see the reflection of the ice crystals gleaming in the clouds. Now and then a bird flew by looking for food down below.

Carla and Turkleton were somewhere doing something, but no one knew what. There were lots of jokes about them going at it.

Bobby kept and eye on everyone on the ship for safety reasons and secured the areas that were off limits. Luna didn’t want anyone saboteurs or accidents on her watch. She used a lot of resources to get this ship working and wanted to keep it even after the mission was over.
