Family Drama

Shadowfang brought out the second pod victim a Half-Drow female. Once the Half-Drow and Frost were within the Zone of Truth. Shadowfang only had one question for them.

Arc was now cleaning up his materials from his spell and salvaging what he could. Luna was still on guard with her metal rats. Styx was still having a dramatic conversation with her father who seemed to have abandoned her.

"Do either of you have a Mind Flayer inside of you?" The Half-Drow female was the first to respond. "Yes." Shadowfang cleaved the armorless woman in two straight down the middle. He turned to Frost. "Of course not." Shadowfang put his sword away. "Good."

Arc was a bit shocked as Shadowfang killed the woman he just healed. However he was interrupted by Luna who said, “Wow that could have ended badly.” Arc said, Yeah. She could have attacked us in our sleep.” Styx was still cross with her deadbeat father Frost as he was trying to poorly explain his situation.

Before anything else could be said Vallana spoke up. "Dad?!" She flew to him and slapped him across the face. "Where the hell have you been all my life? Did mom mean nothing to you?"

Frost was now even more shocked to see his daughters cross with him as he looked around as if more of his offspring might show up. Styx then lectured him on being a dead beat dad who left to buy milk and never came home. She said it was hard living with her slutty mother always seducing guys to feed on. To make it worse she just met her half sister who was also mad at their father.

Tav was about to start asking questions when the third pixie showed up. I got all my life only seeing one pixie. Now I meet three in a matter of days and they are all related. What are the odds of that happening? Maybe I should do some gambling next time I am in a town. Fera watched the pixies, kind of interested in the drama. Tav was totally invested in the drama, she wished she had some food to snack on while she watched.

Frost finally explained that he did go out to buy milk but was kidnapped as sold to a pervy noble and he barely managed to escape before he was injured and scarred for life. However on his way home he got captured by the Mind Flayers. He got lucky he was small so the Mind Flayers didn’t have time to alter a smaller tadpole for him. Then looked at Vallana with a curious look as he said wow you look so much like your mother. But please understand I never knew you were my child. I am so sorry.” Frost looked very desperate and was trying to make peace with his angry daughters.
