The Odd One Out

Fera and Demonsbane didn’t bother to introduce themselves. Fera was due to being generally disinterested in a stupid barbarian. Did wonder what a Githyanki tasted like but there was time for that later. Demonsbane never introduces herself, only tells her name when they ask.

Arc found the Githyanki rather rude to her rescuers. He noticed she was not just lacking in manners but also lack social skills. He was not sure if her nasty glances were directed towards him or Styx who was perched on his helmet.

Shi’za looked at the clearly half-breed Pixie like it was dumb. “A Githyanki warrior’s sole purpose is to kill Mindflayers. I was at the Battle of Baldur’s Gate and our allies betrayed us and instead of killing the Netherbrain they decided to use it to continue the Mind Flayer’s Grand Design. That betrayal cost me my dragon. They also killed Orpheus the true ruler of the Gith Empire as well as Voss my commanding officer. Without both of them the fight to free my people from the Lich Queen is lost. I will have my revenge on those traitors, especially the false Githyanki called Lae'zel. Her blood will flood the streets.”

Luna shook her head at the muscle head and said, “You’re wasting your time talking to that muscle head. Her kind only understands violence.” Arc sighed as he replied, “How sad. What happens when she kills all her enemies?” Styx chuckled as she replied, “Her kind ain’t worth the concern big guy. She’ll just bite the hand that feeds her.”

While everyone was distracted by Shi’za Fera decided to use the opportunity to covertly check out Arc some more, he was clearly not the human he claimed to be. What he was remained a mystery, a mystery she was going to solve one way or another, she also didn’t care if it required the shedding of blood.

Styx glared at Fera as she looked in her direction. She then replied,”Sorry toots, but this big guy is spoken for. I call dibs.” Arc was confused as he whispered to Styx, “What are you saying?” Styx whispered back to Arc, “Just go with it Arc. I don’t trust her and she might try to trick you since you are too nice.” Arc sighed as her argument was convincing. Then Arc asked, “Any idea how far the crash site is Tav?”
