Elyndor “Elly” Moonshadow prowled through the city’s shadows like a ghost, his eyes narrowed against the glare of neon lights. His connection to the urban spirits was both a gift and a curse, a constant whisper in his mind that drove him to the edge of sanity.
His features were sharp and angular, the result of elven heritage that marked him as different from the humans that filled the city streets. His long, dark hair fell in loose waves down his back, a stark contrast to his pale skin and the deep blue of his eyes. Dressed in dark, practical clothing that allowed him to blend into the night, Elyndor moved with a fluid grace that spoke of years spent navigating the urban jungle.
Pigeon gave Elly a sense of trouble before he got to it. The gang waiting in the alleyway as he tailed two young out slumming. Pigeon had pointed them out with the outfits. Children of wage slaves living on the edge. With a quick prayer, Elly cast an illusions spell to make the girls look unattractive. That would cost him a meal.
The blond had accidentally flashed a gold credstick which caught his attention, thank you pigeon. A little help from spirits would get them safely to the club, and a little skill on his part would free the credstick from her possession. That would mean no dumpster diving for him tonight.
A large order of fries behind the club was an acceptable offering to pigeon.
