Pascal's Last

JP with Redsword and Cindy

The Duke and Sung got a still unconscious Pascal into the basement with Harold's help. The Duke's eyes landed on the chair and the chains. He had set up this interrogation area years ago though it hadn't gotten much use until recently.

Once Pascal was placed on the chair and the now magically reinforced chains were used to bind him. The Duke thanked Harold, dismissing him from the rest of what was about to happen.

"Mr. Sung, feel free to wake him up." The Duke gestured at Pascal.

"Yes, your Grace" replied Sung as he turned and placed his hand on Pascal's shoulder healing him just enough so he could wake up. Then reached down and grabbed a bucket of cold water and dumped it on Pascal. With the drain below Pascal, the excess water drained from the room.

"Wake up, Pascal!" shouted Sung hitting a few pressure points to block Pascal's magic flow and cause a little pain.

Pascal groggily awoke to the water and pain. He couldn't make sense of what was happening, at first then realized who was standing in front of him and that he was chained.

He couldn't concentrate enough to try magic, but it likely wouldn't have done much good considering how weak he was. The mage tried to bite the poison in his mouth, and realized it wasn't there. No escape - let them kill him - he wasn't going to tell them anything.

"Well, Mr. Pascal I must say a human with your level of abilities is quite rare, impressive almost." The Duke spoke in a calm but cold way. "It is ashame you had to fall on the wrong side of things."

Pascal weakly replied. "Pompous, just like an Eldren. You do not know the war that is coming."

The Duke didn't seem upset by the comment. So, much so he just moved on from the topic. "I bet you were here to steal the Eye of The Sea. Which, by the way, is not here. So, you wasted all that time, had a bunch of men get killed and got caught for nothing."

"That was not the only reason, "Pascal offered. "I should have killed your daughter when I had the chance."

While the Duke was usually calm in such situations, the comment about Elizabeth was not something he would abide by. He infused magic into his hand and struck Pascal hard enough to send the man across the room. Possibly, breaking one or more of Pascal's bones in the process.

"Your Grace, If you want something from this fool I would use some restant," said Sung respectfully. "If you want him dead you need not soil your hands with his filth," Sung said pointing his sword at Pascal. Sung walked over healing Pascal some. "This is what he wants from us to kill him before he tells us what we want to know. I have seen this in war" explained Sung. Turning his hand from healing to grip a presser pint in the neck caused pain to rip through Pascal's body and left him with a headache and little ringing in his ears.

"You would not have the chance to kill Lady Elizabeth. because I would kill you first. Be rest assured. Your death will be slow and painful torment like you never had before." said Sung his tone cold and calculated. The touch of Dargon Wrath's cold blade tip resting on Pascal's family jewels. "I will cut you one piece at a time and then stop the bleeding. I can keep it up for days." warns Sung his eyes cold on his face without emotion. The look of a cold killer is all that could be seen.

Pascal winced with the pain, his breathing becoming more labored for several moments. The Duke used his telekinesis ability, from being a mind mage, to put Pascal and his chair back up right.

"Yes, Mr. Sung you are correct. Restraint it is." The Duke said. "Now, Mr. Pascal where are the leaders to The Children of the Sea?"

Pascal said nothing.

The Duke got in the mages face, "I will ask you again. Where are the leaders to The Children of The Sea?"

Pascal spit saliva mixed with blood at the Duke.

Duke Ellington sighed, stepped away from Pascal, as he wiped the spit from his face. "Mr. Sung - if you please." Gesturing towards Pascal. The Duke knew Sung was excellent at getting people to talk.

Sung pointed his sword at Pascal's chest. He raised the tip to be on the tip of Pascal's chin. Sung made sure that Pascal was watching the tip of the sword. With a quick motion that was almost not even seen. Sung brought the hilt down onto one of Pascal's testicles. crushing it blood squirted from his pants onto the chair. "Remember Pascal when I am done with you I will find your family, relatives, anyone you cared about and do the same to them, So talk." threatens Sung the tone of blood lust in his voice.

Pascal withered and hissed with the pain. He didn't speak though, except to say. "Family...no family."

Duke Ellington raised a brow. "Are you trying to say, you have no family because I know that is not true? Maureen?"

"No...even Eldren not that cruel." Pascal muttered. "She did nothing."

"Then tell us where they went." The Duke said with a harsh tone.

"I do not know. I ....was supposed to wait for word...in Greece." Pascal replied.

Sung smiled "Remember Pascal, I am not Eldren. You have no idea how dark my past is or how ruthless I can become," said Sung. He moved his sword hilt to the other testicle applying pressure. " Is that that all you know? Maureen's future depends on your answers. I will enjoy hearing her scream more as I do things to her. She might like me more than you, things you could not imagine." warned Sung, smiling and licking his lips.

"No. .. I can give you the place in Greece, where I was supposed to go." Pascal had to practically hiss out the words because of the pain. "The leadership would not go to Greece to easy to get caught. Later, they said. Always later. Maureen can't know." Pascal was losing focus.

"Focus, Pascal." The Duke commanded. "Where were they supposed to send the message?"

"Ancient - Athens." Pascal got out.

"An ancient place in Athens?" The Duke asked.

"By temple. House near ancient...." Pascal lost consciousness, his breathing was very shallow.

"I think we have what we need. Mr. Sung, feel free to end him." Duke Ellington gestured towards Pascal. "Such a waste, all that talent.”

Sung wasted no time with the Duke's command, cutting him several ways that would kill Pascal quickly and efficiently. "Your Grace, we should burn the body," suggested Sung. "You are right, a waste of life." Sung added as he wiped the blood from his blade with a rag and sheathed his sword.
