The Moonbus

Cronk frowned when Pretty Flower was taken away with Frenchie. He was certain it had to do with her toys. Cronk would have enjoyed seeing them. He didn’t understand how they worked, but loved to see it all in motion. All the gears and pistons enthralled him.

Not knowing what to do now, Cronk turned to an the Masked One and The Good Doctor. “Where go?”

Cronk was certain the Good Doctor would want to see more of the science labs. The Masked One, Cronk was not certain. He wasn’t sure if they had a building for monster hunters.

Elise continued to lead the group past some labs, a through a large opened room where all sorts of engineers seemed to be making blue prints and doing mock up designs. To the untrained eye it might look as though they were playing with blocks.

Out the back door and to where two large steel buildings were. Elise pointed to the building next to the one the group was standing in front of. "That is where the air ship is docked, when it is here. It is currently on loan to one of the teams."

She then hit a button on the side of the building and the large door is the front raised to reveal a under construction rather large air ship and a few people working on it. One of them, a human greeted Elise and then turned to the group. "Welcome, I am Mr. Hass." He spoke with a British Accent. "And this the Moonbus. " Motioning to the air ship behind him. "When it is complete it will be completely state of the art, with every amenity you can think of in an air ship. Smooth sailing."

Dr. Jackal looked at the amazing technology and a smirk as he thought to himself that it would be a bad idea to be trapped on any airship with himself. Floating high in the sky with man who could loos his cool and turn into a rampaging, people eating demon sounded like a bad idea when you say it out loud, so imagine it actually happening. To be polite he kept silent and did simple nods to pretend he was interested in the tour.

Cronk was thinking along the same line as the Good Doctor, although he didn’t know it. Cronk remembered the first and only time being on an airship. Motion sickness had overwhelmed him. Inwardly, the orc wondered, hoping not, if there were any below him when he lost the contents of his stomach.

The same happened on any moving vehicle, although not as bad in the steam powered land vehicles. Perhaps it was due to them being more stable, not rocking back-and-forth with the waves or wind. Just thinking about it brought a greenish hue to Cronk’s cheeks.

Mr. Hass went on to explain the engine, it was a steam powered airship, even the best engine couldn't go particularly fast. "We have equipped it with steel air powered shocks which lessen the effects of air turbulence." Mr. Hass explained.

"Now, on to the amenities. When finished this ship will have a fully equipped kitchen. A bar, which will be stabilized. Steam powered showers." He looked at Cronk, "for you, a full sized collapsible tub." Mr. Hass then continued. "Private area for dressing. All the seats can be made into beds and all the tables will be collapsible. Other amenities are still in the planning stages."

Elise looked over at the now smaller group. "Thank you, Mr. Hass. " the man nodded, mentioned he could be found here if anyone had any questions after the tour and them took his leave of the group.

Elise then said. "The Baron has arranged for lunch for your team, at 12:30. It will be at that Cafe over there, pointing to Cafe 2 which was in the middle of the semi-circle of buildings. That concludes the tour, you have until then to explore the grounds here. Thank you for your time." And with that Elise left.
