The Shaman and the Priest Part 2

"I suppose we cannot be completely certain where the idea that Sister Locust cannot be bound came from." As there were no records. "The Twins are certainly powerful enough, if they disagreed with your pairing they would have made that known, or I would think so." Aguzul wasn't questioning the Gods, just thinking they weren't behind this. "It might not matter. As long as the Sisters don't want it to happen, it can not. They will not allow it."

It made sense that Ch’Truta would question his role under the Twins. Aguzul shook his head slightly. "The Sister only randomly gets an occasional vision. She is not granted visions on a regular basis, nor can she seek them out. We do not have anyone that has your gift." He paused. "It is possible you are meant to find another way to tap into those visions. Perhaps, if you seek guidance from the Twins, though meditation, they will grant you an answer." It was all so unprecedented that it was difficult to give definitive answers.

Ch’Truta nodded. “My meditation should include a flame, water and sand?” He remembered the items of the now abandoned ritual ceremony.

"Water and sand, yes. Water representive of Yther. Sand symbolizing Viher. The fire represents the first Sister Locust, as she had been a Odoine Priestess of their fire god. So, use the fire only if you seek her council as well." Aguzul seemed to hesitate, but then added. "Mind you these are guesses, at best but they are used when a Ozanine priest seeks their wisdom."

“Then I shall try,” Ch’Truta affirmed. He us decided to use the fire as well, remembering his thoughts awaiting Him Alana before the ceremony was to begin. Perhaps the first Sister Locust could provide Ch’Truta some insight into dealing with the sisters. Of course, with her being the first, she would not have had the indwelling of her predecessors as Islana has. Still, she may help.

Ch’Truta bowed to Aguzul in respect. “I thank you for your advise.”

"I will be of service where I can," Aguzul replied. Ch’Truta was very important to Sister Locust, the other advisor had given into the idea the couple was no permanent, this meant that the man from the swamp was important to them.

Aguzul always did enjoy the teaching aspect of his position. He thought back to when Sister Locust was still just Islana, slave to Shalia Nix, and full of questions about the Twins, the Ozanine and all that came with it. He had enjoyed answering her questions then. He had not minded at all giving counsel to Ch'Truta.

"Shall we return? I will then leave you to do what you need to but if you need anything do not hesitate to ask." Aguzul added.

“Of course,” Ch’Truta nodded in agreement. He was concerned about Islana. He realized her need after the disruption of the ceremony, their ceremony. She needed some time alone to process things. Ch’Truta often did this through his meditations. Now, thanks to Aguzul, Ch’Truta had a way to seek the Twin’s guidance. This he would do to be a better advisor to the one he loved.
