Crowd Buster

Tav led the others up the hill. She had them line up on the hill. Tav and Fera pulled out their hand crossbows, laid down on the ground, and put their bolt holders on the ground for easy access. They then lay in wait to spring their own ambush. As they waited Tav counted at least thirty ambushers a mix of various race and dire wolves.

Arc gazed through his helmet as he was on his chest looking at the ambushers. He then slowly pulled his very large sword from his back and began mumbling to himself. The language was foreign to the others and sounded like babbling. Luna was not sure what Arc was doing but she had a clue that he was getting ready to cast some AOE magic. So she let more of her rat constructs out of her bag of holding and then had them move twenty feet before them as a defense line.

Tav's team noticed the ambushers moving into place ready to pounce on both sides of the road, the wagons would be in the way those in the wagons would have to deal with them exclusively.

Arc then finished his chant and his large sword began to glow with blue lightning and fire. Then he popped up as he said, I” call lightning to smite thee!” And then lightning shot up from his sword into the sky into a cloud and quickly came crashing down into the middle of the ambushers. Luna gave Arc a grin showing her being impressed and then sent her rat golems to intercept the approaching ambushers. She then said, “Aim for the stragglers!”
