Arrival in Waterdeep
Tav after killing her friend knew only one thing, she had to get away before she was turned and that her friend was from Waterdeep. During her travel to Waterdeep she saw less and less Mind Flayers. She spread the word to stay away from Baldur’s Gate that it was overrun by Mind Flayers and they were spreading. She eventually bumped into a Warforged.
Demonsbane was killing Mind Flayers near a Druid grotto when a Tiefling bumped into it. After the two of them finished the Mind Flayers off and secured a bunch of refugees inside the grotto the druids sealed it off.
Tav had never seen a Warforged before she thought it was basically the same as a Steel Watcher at first. Tav wasn’t sure if a sentient machine was much better. After talking about their goals and plans, she got the thing to agree to follow her. She felt safer somewhat at night with a machine that was conscious and ‘sleep’ at the same time.
When they eventually reached Waterdeep Tav took Demonsbane to the one place she always wanted to go to but never been The Sleepy Sylph. The scantily clad waitstaff dressed as fairies was the sole reason she wanted to go. As she was drinking and relaxing for the first time since getting her new legs she couldn’t wait to sample everything life had to offer at the moment before she went to war against the Mind Flayers of Baldur’s Gate.
Fera had been in Waterdeep for a little over a day, it was her first time in the area. She was looking for information on vampires hoping one of them could be coerced into revealing more information on the Vampire Ascendent she heard about. She wasn’t sure what his name was, Astarion, Asstorian, something like that. Her questioning always worked best in taverns or at the end of her blade. At the moment she found herself in a tavern that exploited its waitstaff by making them dress like fairy harlots. A very distasteful yet useful exploitation she could take advantage of if she played her cards right.
