Runaway Boys
Lyle would find him “fucked you up bad huh” he started picking him up in a fireman's carry “tell you what help guide me to my friends and I'll help you out.”
Jasper was fighting the fog in his head from that blow as his brain and skull healed. The most he could do was point with his mechanical arm, leading him toward where Taw was.
Lyle grunted and started walking ignoring his own injuries as they moved through the halls.
“You’re hurt…I think I can walk now…” He said as they rounded a corner.
Lyle nodded and set him down as gently as he could before leaning against a wall.
“You’ve lost a lot of blood from those stab wounds.” Jasper said.
“I can help…” Sarah’s voice was like music as she and Silver walked up to them. The straight jacket wearing man tilted his head, watching Lyle.
Lyle looked at the man warily but allowed the woman to help.
Sarah stepped over and briefly touched Lyle’s hand, her power instantly healing him. “He won’t harm you. We want to leave.” She said to him, looking at her mate.
Silver snorted and stuck his tongue out at her playfully. He was only behaving for her sake right now.
Jasper sighed heavily. “I need to find Taw.”
Lyle looked at Silver “you got any family in Canada?”
“No clue,” Silver said with a grin. “Been here since I escaped a lab.”
“You look similar to someone I met in Canada” he grunted remembering the young man working at the cafeteria with the bunny girl.
“I’ve never been to Canada…I think.” Silver scratched the top of his head.
“so how do we get out of here my plan was to head towards the gunfire” Lyle replied.
“Taw…” Jasper murmured and started walking toward the voices he heard.
“Follow him!” Silver chimed and pulled Sarah along after Jasper.
Lyle kept up with them as best as he could.
Silver looked back at Lyle and grabbed onto him. “Come on, slow poke!” He yelled and lifted him up like a child over his shoulder. “Keep up!”
Sarah giggled at her mate’s actions. “He likes you.” She told Lyle as they followed Jasper to the group.
“good to know” he sighed fighting the exhaustion.
