Seele And Lyle (Pt. 4)

‘I hope so,’ Seele wrote, leaning back and staring at the ceiling.

Lyle nodded “I'm going to hop in the shower if that's alright?”

Seele nodded.

“Do you want me to close the door or give you a show” he asked with a wink.

Seele didn't answer him and went over to Bruno’s pond. She didn't want to think right now.

Lyle hopped in the shower and cleaned himself before leaving and getting dressed. Fixing his shirt he sat down next to her.

Seele would be asleep on the couch when he walked out, curled into a tight ball.

Bruno looked up at Lyle from the pool and let out a worried rumble.

Lyle knelt down by the couch “you ok?”

Seele opened her eyes and shook her head, fresh tears falling down her face.

“It's ok I'm here Seele and I promise to protect you” he whispered.

Seele nodded and reached out, grabbing his hand to hold it. This was all she needed right now.

Lyle sat on the floor holding her hand.
