Three New Old Souls in the Mojave
Kennedi arrived in the Mojave first. She had no clue where she was going to land/teleport she just picked a random area she thought was near Las Vegas. She arrived just outside the Lucky 38. She looked around. This is not what I was expecting. Way less people than I thought. Footage always shows a shit ton of people in Vegas. There are more robots than I was expecting. She started walking around. She didn't want to move far away if someone else chose this place as well.
Mia arrived a few moments later and snuck up on Kennedi. "So you chose Vegas too." Kennedi whipped around her blaster pointed at Mia. "Do. Not. Startle. Me. Like. That." She put her blaster away. "Don't make me waste what little ammo I have left." Mia chuckled. "Don't worry a..." Mia was interrupted by the sounds of another teleporting in.
Mia and Kennedi turned to see who it was. "Who da fuck are you?" Mia asked while holding back the urge to vomit at the sight of the hideous thing before her. "Elisenda Chandler at your service." Elisenda bowed. Mia pulled her one of her guns on Elisenda. Kennedi followed suit. "I know Elisenda Chandler, you do not look or sound anything like her. You look more like a creature from some horror movie but way worse."
Elisenda expected this result. She showed off her alien prosthetic leg. She also spouted off a bunch of lines from the Mistress of Mystery. Mia rolled her eyes. After like the fourth one Mia interrupted. "Okay. Okay. Okay. I believe you. You really should see a doctor you look like died several years ago." Elisenda looked around. "Yeah, I am either somehow undead or something new entirely. Feel great all considering. So is this Vegas or Atlantic City? Was not expecting to end up here. I kinda see the reason why. We were lucky enough to survive that alien hellhole and make it back why not try our luck in the casinos." She pointed to the casino behind them. "Lucky 38. Thirty-eight's always been my lucky number. Let's try our luck in there." She then remembered they had no money. "How are we going to bet without any money?"
