The First Meeting (Part one)

About 7 PM

As they came into a parlor.

“Please have a seat, Mr. Sung will keep you company until her Lady’s arrival. Beverage?”

At the short introduction and requesting some water, Harvey was on to his task, Vor barely catching the remarkably swift man turning a corner. He was thus left to meet eyes with the aforementioned Mr. Sung.

Lady Elizabeth was seeing to her staff and arrangements. Sung had been tasked to greet the team in the Sung. Harvey, the Butler, offered Vor a seat and a drink. Sung said nothing just watched. Sung's eyes and Vors met. Sung and gave a respectful nod. Sung had taken a chair that almost faced the center of the room. Opposite the door that people would be entering. so he could get a good look at everyone that would come in.

He closed his eyes and focused on the flow of magic that moved around Vor but did not get absorbed so he was not a user of magic. The color being light also showed Vor was not an inherently evil man. So far Vor looked fine.

"Mr. Vor, I am Mr. Shun Shi, welcome. I am glad you were able to make it." welcomed Sung. standing he walked over and held his hand out friendly jester to shake Vor's hand.

Dumont and Lord Andrews caught a horse drawn coach and arrived back at the Ellington Estate with ten minutes to spare. Harvey led the men in and asked for their choice of beverage of which Dumont ordered Crémant de Bourgogne. The butler would procure the drinks as he allowed them to have a moment to change, should they wish, before finding their way to the parlor.

After Dumont hurriedly washed his face and changed his shirt, allowing himself to cool off a little. When he determined that he was thoroughly ready for the meeting, he made his way down to the parlor where he was met by a man who could only be Mr Sung and an Araunda he had not been expecting.

"Bonne soirée, gentlemen." Dumont said with a bow. "You must be Mr. Sung Shun Shi?" He reached out to shake Mr Sung's hand. "And I'm afraid I don't have your name, sir." he directed the question to the Araunda.

Vor was caught between reaching for his hosts hand and the question posed by the newcomer. He chose to allow the two to shake and bowed to Mr. Shun Shi, answering the guest first before inquiring his host.

“I am Vor’Aster, it is a pleasure to be welcomed here and to make your acquaintance. I was not made aware of the presence of others though, will they be aiding in the investigation?”

Tristin quickly went and changed into a black outfit. The fabric was Indian. The vest had black buttons and fit like a glove. The jacket as well. His shirt was a high starched and white.

He arrived at the room slightly before the deadline. When asked about a drink, he asked for tea with two sugars.

Sung glanced at Dumont answering Vor's bow. Sung did look annoyed at being interrupted. He looked surprised at Vor's aiding in the investigation question. How much did Lady Elizabeth tell Vor, Sung thought? "Hwanyeong, hwanyeong. (Hwanyeong in Korean (Welcome, Welcome) in (English).) Take a seat Lady Elizabeth will be with us soon."

The chairs were almost in a circular pattern around the room all the furniture was very plush. and the decorations beautifully show the family's wealth and power.
