Sung's Report
JP with Redsword and Cindy
Elizabeth had some more tea brought to the office, then had a servant fetch Sung. She had a feeling he might have more information about Jackal to give.
While waiting she started in some of the paperwork that would have to be filled out given the events of the day.
"I am, thank you. Cannot say that I suppose for other members of the team." Elizabeth said. "I am glad however the team members made it back alive, though I am sorry for Lily. Her father's death must be hard on her."
"As you can see," pointing to the statue on the desk. "Captain Maseo has delivered the Visage. I have not authenticated it with Mr. Aster as of yet but I believe it the original."
Sung took a deep breath and explained in detail what happened maybe too much detail of Big Read consuming people. Sung looks to be bothered by Big Red in some ways he talks about Big Red with some sustain. After Sung is finished he changes the subject of Big Red.
"Did Captain Maseo say anything about the empirical mage I had to fight I was fortunate to have the surprise on the empirical mage and got a good slash from my sword. Something he will not forget anytime soon," said Sung then taking a sip of his tea. The empirical mage should be easy to find not many of them." asked Sung.
"It must have been the Emperical Mage that attacked me. Was he human?" Upon Sung's confirmation that yes the mage was human, Elizabeth added. "Yes, I am sure the Countness must know who he is." There weren't that many Emperical mages but a human one was extremely rare.
"And no Captain Maseo didn't tell about the mage but I assume it will be in his written report." Elizabeth said.
The team leader thought about what to ask next, "If I understand everything correctly Dr. Jackal did not transform until he was out on the street. Did you get any sense that magic was what was preventing that from happening?"
Thinking Sung had not even thought about it. it was an in-and-out type of thing. Sung felt like a fool for a moment. "To be honest I did not think about that much I do remember When I came in the room there was a tough of magic but Sasha came in after I got in the room. she undid the locks, freeing Dr. Jackal. I felt some magic on Jackal, there was no way I could tell for certain that it was magic keeping Big Red at bay," explained Sung.
Sung started to run the whole room through his mind what he was seeing and there was a full minute that he looked around before leaving. "I would think that was what was keeping Red subdued magic would be the only way," added Sung.
"The Empirical mage must have designed his own spell for that." Elizabeth was guessing but it was based on what she knew. "When your ready please do a written report. I will be having a team meeting this evening. I believe that's all I had to discuss for the moment." It was clear she wasn't trying to boot Sung out of her office but she just had so much to do. "Thank you, Mr. Sung."
