Sung looked at one of the maids who kept looking in on them. "Bring some tea please," said Sung with a reassuring smile as Elizabeth started to open her eyes. Harold had gone off to get the new nurse Sung had guessed Sung took a deep breath relaxing some. He looked at Elizabeth like any father would have if their child was hurt.
Sung brushed Elizabeth's hair to one side getting it out of her face. "You know, I keep warning you to get out of the way of danger when will you learn child?" Sung said it almost half joking but with a father's concern in his tone. Sung shook his head some. "You are lucky I was there again. One day I won't be you have to be more careful.
A lady walked in a dress that would match any fashion of the time. She stopped and bowed. My lord you called?" said the voice. Sung's eyes widened. Sung turned to her "It can not be, Matsu?" he said quietly looking surprised.
Sako raised from her bow "Who, my Lord?" she asked inquisitively as she got closer. "Is Lady Elizabeth ok?" Sako asked with concern looking her over.
Sung looked back at Elizabeth regaining his composure. "Yes, but she will need several days of rest. and I am not your lord. I am Mr. Sung please address me as such." said Sung in a polite but firm tone. "New look over Lady Elizabeth to make sure I did not miss something," instructed Sung politely.
It wasn't Harold who had gone to get the nurse, it was Clement who upon seeing Lady Elizabeth's condition had ran back to his current home to retrieve the woman. However, the nurse was busy with his mother.
As it turned out Nanny Asako was starting tomorrow but had arrived tonight to get settled in. Clement asked her if she had any training to check in on Lady Elizabeth fortunately she did and agreed to do so.
Elizabeth didn't respond at first as her head still hurt. She listened to the back and forth between Sung and Maso, so the two knew each other? That might be something to discuss with Sung later.
Elizabeth was fairly fine, a good deal of the injury had been healed by Sung but it had been significant enough and because it was a significant head injury and better safe than sorry approach was best.
"What happened? Is everyone alright?" Elizabeth asked Sung as the new Nanny used her medical skills to check out the Eldren.
"For now yes, My Lady. We made it back. We have two guests the one that attacked you. The other is a girl that was ah.. given to Vor in are investigation they are separated and," explained Sung. "Sasha is with the masked man in the seller. Vor is with Iris a young girl that is indoctrinated into the Clidern of the sea. Dr. Jackal and Lily were kidnapped their location is unknown," said Sung explaining things to Elizabeth.
"Kidnapped!? We have to..." Elizabeth started to get up, but her head wasn't having it. She closed her eyes for a moment to refocus. "Man in a mask?" What was bugging her about that? It took a moment then she remembered. "The man in the mask. - is William Sable."
"William Sable? The one we know that William Sable? I am sure Sasha is having a conversation with him right now. Now that I know I hope she leaves something for me to deal with." Commented Sung his tone darker and cold. Sung looks away for a moment then looks back at Elizabeth with a smile. "Don't worry about him I don't think he will ever bother you again My Lady," Sung said with confidence.
"Yes, the same., he called me Lizzy." Elizabeth looked concerned for a moment. "Sasha, I am sure she's getting him to talk but he's a mage. Please go check on them." Elizabeth just let what ever happen to William at this point happen.
"Nanny Asako, do I check out all right in your opinon?" The Nanny hadn't said much as she went through checking out Elizabeth, but Elizabeth knew she had things to do.
After Sako checked her head and neck she Stood. "My Lady, yes, but try to take it easy. You have been healed but the bruising is still there. If not for the healing KI My Lord, I mean Mr Sung had done you most likely would have died," informed Sako with a small bow.
Sung looks a little surprised at Sako's assessment and her. The whole time Sung kept glancing at Sako. Elizabeth could see something in her that was familiar too. "Thank you, Miss Sako," Sung said still by Elizabeth's side.
"Call me if I am needed further, My Lady," she said politely. Sako gave a bow and left the room.
Sung watched as she left. "I see you have a new employee, My Lady. Now what do you want to do about Dr. Jackal and Miss Lily? If they wake the other side of Dr. Jackal it probably won't matter. But we should have a plan," suggested Sung as one of the maids came in with tea for Elisabeth handed it to her and left the room.
Elizabeth thanked Sako before she left.
Once Elizabeth was fairly certain Sako was out of earshot. "Yes, she is the new nanny for the children. Apparently, you two already know each other though I won't ask, at least for now. There are more pressing matters at hand." Elizabeth rubbed her temples a bit before the servant arrived.
The servant commented that dinner was available in the dining room, it was a buffet style so people could eat as the choose. Elizabeth thanked the servant who then left.
What to do for Dr. Jackal and Lily? "Mr. Sable might be able to tell us where they were taken or give us a general idea. We'll need the maps of Paris and the tunnels which are in the library to devise a plan. As for Dr. Jackal's other half there's little we can do about that, if it happens. My guess is they have him sedated in someway, perhaps magically in order to keep his other half at bay. If the Children have him and Lily they already know about the demon side." Elizabeth blew on then sipped her tea. "Please go and to the cellar and you or Sasha question William about Miss Lavigne's and Dr. Jackal's possible whereabouts."
Sung gave a small bow. "It will be my pleasure to see our guest and find out what he knows, My Lady. said Sung with a dark expression on his face. Sung made sure that Elizabeth was settled and then left to go to the seller.
