These Hands Aren't Made For Stonework

Jiyn happily let anyone who wanted salt take as much as they wanted, even though it wasn't the people he was particularly aiming for.

Well, except for Tarmen since he accepted. He liked Tarmen. He liked Tarmen as much as you can like a man you just met who could most lightly crush you with just his bare hands. Someone you definitely want by your side or preferably in front of you in battle.

Alexis seemed the type that Jiyn would definitely have to earn the respect of through time, and perhaps a long time with how it seemed to him. She seemed too wise and overqualified to be here, and her middle ground answer proved that to Jiyn. She must've been ready for anything. He gave her a friendly smile anyway, like usual.

Hunter though, Hunter terrified Jiyn. He couldn't read the man in the slightest. He had the eyes of someone who's killed a thousand men while being contained in a calm silhouette. When Hunter asked if there were 'rules' on hunting the beyond dangerous wildlife out there, Jiyn shuttered at the thought but tried to remain acting like he belonged. A man who asks how he must hold himself back against something as dangerous as that... you have to fear what else he's seen in his life. Jiyn gave him a respectful nod, trying not to show his inner fear of him.

Jiyn stopped scanning each character when he felt himself starring too long and cleared his throat. "I currently worry about what's next in the day for us. Maybe it's sparing? Hunting? A little masonry to see who's handy?" Jiyn stretched out his arms and looked into his hands.

"Yeah, these hands aren't meant for stonework."
