Biting The Bullet

Carrie was sad by how things were at this moment. She was feeling overwhelmed by her bad health, being officially dead, loosing Bruce, the changes in the Bat Family, her dependence on Agent Orange, her friendship with Abby and no time to process all this. Once Barbra was done with the blood sample she held the cotton ball in place and she had a pained expression on her face while looking at Agent Orange. He simply smiled as he replied, "It will be okay Carrie. I will support you in anyway you need." Abigale then said, "We spent five years in a nasty jungle together. I think we can handle one night working as staff during the dinner. Besides if that Orime lady turns out to be a complete tool, Old man Orange will take care of us."

Carrie smirked as Agent Orange gave Abby a side glance for her comment. Then Carrie said, "Thank you both for this." Carrie then looked at Kate and said, "Well they agreed so I guess we will do this then." Carrie looked at her old worn out Robin costume and back at Kate as she asked, "I am wearing the only outfit I have at the moment, so do I go like this or can I get cleaned up and maybe some new clothes?" Carrie felt a bit embarrassed by the fact that she was living the life of a homeless girl the last five years, but it did make her appreciate everything she had before being captured. Agent Orange then said, "Sorry but we were living on a small budget in a bad area. I prioritized their safety and food over luxury." Abby then said, "Yeah there ain't a whole lot of five star hotels and fashion stores in the middle of the jungle."
