Brief Bio

Carrie Kelly: A thirteen-year-old Girl Scout rescued by a Batman who had just come out of retirement, Carrie Kelly’s Robin arms herself with a slingshot and firecrackers in Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. When Kelly saves Batman from a deadly attack by the Mutant Leader, the Caped Crusader adopts her as his sidekick. The fiery teenager plays a vital role in helping Batman mount his comeback and regain control of a Gotham that’s mired in bloodshed and chaos. Several years later, Kelly operates under the guise of Catgirl, encountering a Joker-like villain who would have killed her if not for Batman’s help. Sadly while fighting Ra's al Ghul and his minions she was separated from Batman and captured in South America. After being relocated to a different base for Ra's al Ghul she was put in a stasis chamber to be experimented on later as a back up body for himself. Since the experiment was going to take a while he set up the stasis tank to slowly alter her body so she would develop immunity to toxins, and enhanced strength, agility, and durability. However Ra's al Ghul never finished his next mission and was forced to move elsewhere. Since that plan fell through and a long wait, Ra's al Ghul's base was infiltrated by Agent Orange and the Polka Dot Girl. By chance they rescued Carrie Kelly who was still in her Robin suit. After nursing her back to health she still suffered mental trauma and became dependent on Agent Orange to stay sane as he used his powers to remove the toxins in her body when they built up. After traveling a bit they made their way to North America to find the Batman and were shocked to hear of his death. Now Carrie was troubled by how to move forward.
