Don’t Stand So Close To Me

After making her introduction, Tav began checking on all the stuff in the wagons while listening and looking up every time someone new started talking. She saw the usual suspects in this type of quest. Nothing was really any different save for the Warforged which was new. Then Styx started talking. [u]Damn that weird-looking Pixie is incredibly hot. Looks like her dad fucked a demon. How the hell does someone have sex with a person that small? Pixies all look like they could be ripped in half literally by a man with average-sized equipment.[/u
Styx was being snarky with the others as they asked her to carry things to the wagon. Styx replied, “Are ye daft? What part uh me looks like I can lift that cargo?” Of course it was hard to get mad at a pint sized tart ranting on about being tiny.
Eventually, the group left Waterdeep and started heading towards Neverwinter. Tav asked Demonsbane to take point while she sat on the back of the last wagon bringing up the rear.
Demonsbane didn't know the land at all, but she grew accustomed to memorizing maps fast while fighting in Avernus because that knowledge has saved lives on more than one occasion.
Meanwhile Luna was paying attention to the scenery as she took mental notes on her choices for defense. She did have a few small golems in her pouch of holding for emergencies. She had already sized up companions for the mission and seemed content for now.
Fera was a nightowl, she usually would be sleeping now except under certain circumstances. She was sitting across from Sir Arc she noticed he smelled off. She kept looking at him trying to figure out what was going on with him. She didn't know every species by scent alone but he definitely didn't smell like a human. He didn't smell like anything alive she was aware of. He also didn't have the distinct aroma of the Hells either like the construct. He also didn't have the distinct musk of the Underdark, like Tav, that hideous scent lingers for quite a while, sometimes it never goes away. She instantly distrusted this Sir Arc. "So Sir Arc, where do you come from? Your scent is unfamiliar to me. In my line of work, knowing scents comes in very handy." She wanted to reach for a weapon but didn't think she could do it without him knowing.
Arc was in the middle of piecing together an incomplete memory in his head when he was interrupted by Fera who seemed to be sniffing him. He felt awkward by this and resorted to humor to solve his problem. He replied, “Whoa there little lady. You know in some cultures it’s considered rude to sniff others without permission and in others it’s considered a marriage proposal. Since we just met I think it’s a to soon for either case.” Arc looked around and then back at Fera before he said, Anyhow I am still trying to figure how I got here to begin with. I woke up with a hazy memory and still getting my bearings.” The paladin was trying to be polite to the aggressive female.
