Shocked Water Man

“I don’t know… She got really protective of you when I carried you here after you fell asleep.” Sorley said, blushing and wishing Gelf would not leave.

“Huh…odd,” Gelf started, blinking when her cellphone rang. She picked it up. “Hey, Delilah, what’s up?” There was a moment she was silent, her eyes lighting up at whatever she was hearing. “Seriously? They saved her?! I’ll be there as soon as possible!”

Hanging up, the pinkette looked at Sorley. “The Underground saved my sister, so I gotta go. Is it okay if Carla and Herbert stay here until I get back to pick them up?”

Sorley’s eyes widened too. He did not even know Gelf had a sister, much less one that needed to be saved. “Sure, I’d do anything for you.”

“Thank you so much!” Gelf got to her feet and went around the table, kissing Sorley’s cheek. “I promise to be back as soon as possible!”

And with that, she teleported away…

Sorley gasped, stuck in place. He felt an almost electric charge where her lips touched his cheek.
