Seele And Lyle (Pt. 3)

When the room was ready, Seele would pay Bruno on the back. He would happily follow her and Lyle to the room where a pool was set up in a corner for him to enjoy. It was designed to self-clean, but there were technicians available for any issues in the building.

Seele looked around before writing, ‘this place is nice. Delilah really went all out for everyone.’

“From what she did you've done a lot for the Underground” Lyle replied looking around.

Seele looked away and nodded, remembering all those she had helped before getting captured. She wished she could go back in time and listen when Lyle had told them to leave the apartment building.

Bruno, meanwhile, splashed into the water with a satisfied rumble.

Lyle kissed the top of her head “did you want to shower or lay down?” He offered.

Seele fidgeted and shook her head. She was far too wired to sit or lay down, but she did want a shower. So, she made her way to the bathroom where she left the door open.

Lyle moved to close it to give her some privacy.

Seele would grab the door and make it stay open, shaking her head wildly. Fear was in her eyes, recalling all the times she’d been locked in the bathroom with that monster, Doron…

“I'm sorry i thought you might want some privacy” Lyle apologized.

Seele stared at him and bit her bottom lip. She’d have to explain once she was done in the shower, so she made it quick. When she got out, she would get dressed and find a new pen and paper, writing about why she didn’t want it closed.

Lyle nodded as he read it before giving her a hug. “I'm sorry.”

Seele hugged him back with a sigh and looked over at Bruno, who splashed the water a little. He was such a brat.

Lyle looked at her before quickly pecking her on the lips.

Seele jumped a bit, but did not run at least. Instead, she chose to change the subject. ‘Are you going to fight Silver one day?’

“I'd prefer not to,” he admitted “I've taken out different Kinds of metas but speedsters are different.” Lifting his shirt he pointed to a large scar.

‘And Silver loves knives.’ Seele wrote, sitting on the couch. ‘The way he moves is weird, though. Different from normal speedsters. I’m sure you noticed he moves more erratically. It gave me a headache watching him. Other speedsters I’ve heard of don’t move like that and aren’t so crazy.’

Silver was an odd one, but at least he seemed calm when Sarah was around. He had never personally done harm to Seele, but he wasn’t like the rest of Amihan, either. The speedster was just wild and uncontrollable with a love for violence, it seemed.
