Seele And Lyle (Pt. 2)

“How are you feeling” he asked rubbing her back in a soothing motion.

Seele only shrugged, still too afraid to actually speak. It only took a month and she was like this.

That was when an odd creature came barrelling into the room. Bruno, Seele’s vent monster from the tattoo shop, would hop onto both her and Lyle, letting out a happy little rumble.

Lyle let out a yelp as he was pinned down.

Seele couldn’t help but laugh as she hugged Bruno around the neck. During her time being stuck in that hell she had worried he was lost, but with how healthy and happy the creature seemed, they had obviously done a check on him and brought him here.

Bruno, finally seeing his mom and her man, was super happy. He kept nuzzling and licking them both, letting out little rumbles of joy.

“Looks like he really missed you” Lyle replied Seele’s laugh making him smile.

Seele nodded and rubbed around Bruno’s neck just the way he likes it. Being so huge, though, only his front half was on the bed with them.

“Please, get down.” A nurse said to the creature as the bed groaned under his massive weight. “These beds are expensive…”

Lyle reached out and pet Bruno alongside Seele.

Bruno got off the bed, but kept his head up so they could pet him. He was obviously a very happy gator-monster.

Lyle sat up and cracked his neck before stretching. “I need a vacation.”

Seele looked at Lyle, now worried she had done something wrong.

Lyle leaned forward kissing her forehead “don't give me that look I was planning to take you with me if I did go.” He replied smiling. “I promise no matter what happens I'm with you.”

Finding her notepad, Seele wrote quickly. ‘Are you okay, though? I know they put you through a lot in Amihan and Silver looked like he wanted to cut your throat open.’

“I'm fine not my first time being captured and tortured” he answered tapping his military tattoo “the only thing on my mind is you.”

‘You still need time to process and take care yourself, though.’ She wrote in reply. ‘Never forget to take care of yourself.’

Lyle nodded before laying back down next to her “You watch my back and I'll watch yours then.”

Seele nodded and went back to petting Bruno, smiling shyly.

Lyle leaned closer and kissed her cheek.

Seele blushed and scooted a bit closer to Lyle. He was the only man she felt safe around now. Well, aside from that Jasper guy.

Lyle wrapped his arm around her protectively.

A nurse walked in with a tray of food and set it down on a table. “Good morning,” She said in a kind voice. “Delilah has a room set up for you three.”

Seele looked perplexed and surprised.

“I asked her to” Lyle answered “between MegaCorp and Amihan i wanted to make sure you have a safe place to recover.”

Seele nodded in understanding and hugged Lyle, nuzzling into his chest. She glanced at the food, but knew she wouldn't be able to eat right now.

Bruno curled up on the floor to rest.

Lyle rubbed her back in a soothing motion.
