Returning To The Underground

Riley wrapped his arms River “you'll stay for the night right?”

“I'll be here,” River promised.

Riley looked at her before leaning forward and kissing her.

River returned the kiss and would keep watch over him for the night, listening to the other talk for a bit before falling asleep next to him.

Riley held her the entire night feeling safe with her around.

When morning arrived, Loreen would slap them both on the asses with a flyswatter. “Up! Up!” She yelled.

“OW! LOREEN!” River screeched as she hopped up and rubbed her butt.

Riley jumped and without thinking grabbed it and returned the favor.

Loreen pulled out a second one and assaulted him childishly with it. “Think you can beat me?!”

“Children!” River yelped.

Riven was laughing from the doorway.

Alex was recording next to him.

Riley fly swatter broke and he used his hand before he blushed as he realized what he was doing.

Loreen froze for a moment before her fist slammed right into the side of Riley’s face.

Riven cringed. “Ouch…”

Riley crumpled to the floor knocked out.

Alex chuckled quickly hiding the phone.

Loreen turned her gaze on Alex. “You want some?!” She growled.

River went to Riley, concerned. “Oh, dear…”

Alex cleared his throat before running “don't act like you didn't enjoy it i saw that blush.”

“ALEEEEEX!” There was crashing as she went after Alex.

“I’m thinking we can say this safe house is no longer safe…” Riven muttered.

Riley slowly started to wake up “what happened?”

“Don’t worry about it.” Riven said as he went to get Evie and put her in the van.

Riley nodded and held onto river as they got in the van.

Radar was already sitting inside “Loreen is upset with Alex also why does Riley have a black eye?”

“Don’t worry about it, Radar.” Riven said as he strapped Evie in. She merely stared at him in dismay, not understanding the use of seatbelts. “Behave…”

“I will…” She whispered, setting her hands in her lap.

Loreen would eventually join them all in the van and chose to sit on the other side of Evie that Riven wasn’t on. They would keep her under control.

River sat with Riley and tended to his eye.

Alex climbed in and drove towards the Underground.

Riley relaxed at Rivers touch but obviously tried to stay as far from Evie as possible.

The entire ride, Evie watched Riley like a hawk. She was silently plotting…

Alex would drive until they pulled into the underground.
