Character Information

Vvvrrrroooooooeeeeeeee aka Vroo and its people are best described as space vampires, energy vampires, or lifeforce vampires. Whatever you call them, they don’t suck your blood. They steal your life force, the very energy that sustains you. They also have no physical body they are a species of disembodied energy. They can take possession of a person’s body, and when that happens the owner of the body enters a comatose-like state, when the vampire leaves the owner of the body wakes up with no knowledge of what their body did during the possession.

Vroo’s people do not call this universe home. They exist in a dimension that is phase-shifted out so that it exists outside of our reality. In their home reality, they do not need to consume life force. During certain celestial events, the vampires can cross over, when they do the need to consume life force becomes necessary. Crossing over is frowned upon to the point that anyone who crossover can’t return without facing severe repercussions. A vampire does not need to kill their food source to survive, if they do they can go longer without feeding. They also do not get the sensation of being ‘full’ so they in theory could consume way to much life force energy and overload. Others believe that consuming to much will cause the vampire to transform into a higher plane of existence. No vampire has ever willingly consumed that much life force energy. Even the amount of life force energy necessary for either outcome is unknown.

Vroo crossed over during one of the celestial events, the best way to describe how in terms organics would understand is to say she tripped and fell through a hole in reality. Vroo was very upset. When she landed in our reality she collided with a person and accidentally possessed them. It took her several years to figure out how to dispossess the poor woman. She only learned how after meeting another vampire but this vampire was evil, and gladly killed people, ruining the lives of the host body, drastically altering their body for no other reason than because it could and it took delight in it.
