Dark Thoughts

When Talerian stretched out his wings Vroo became entranced. "Oh my". Bob got her attention. She didn't hear what Bob said. "Captain Lisara is most likely going to be delivering the cargo she picked up. You'll have to ask her where. I doubt the story about colonizing a planet is true. Most likely a cover story. If the colony thing is true, they may be using slave labor for construction or farming or any number of back-breaking manual labor jobs in setting up the colony."

Talerian rubbed his chin as he pondered the options. He ran several possibilities in his head to see which pieces of the puzzle matched in this situation.

Then B.O.B. said, "Master the theory of your sister being used as slave labor lacks evidence and the theory of being sent to terraform a planet also lacks evidence."

Talerian looked at B.O.B. and asked, "Yeah I was thinking the same thing too. Why kidnap a kid and kill the parents just for cheap labor? It would make sense if they took my whole family as slave labor and my parents would never send a young girl to work on terraforming a planet."

B.O.B. then responded, "Master based on the information I have managed to assemble I have come up with a possible theory on this mystery."

Talerian asked, "Okay do share."

B.O.B. then answered, "Your sister Aello Maxx is the age of 16 and was the top of her class in your educational institutions. Then she was kidnapped and her parents were killed in a brutal manner as if they were in combat. It is logical they tried to stop the kidnappers and were killed in the process."

Talerian looked annoyed as he said, "Tell me something I don't know."

B.O.B. then said, "I was getting to that Master. Kidnapping a child Hawk girl and killing the parents results in limited outcomes. Did they kidnap her to sell her for a high price on the black market? Did they kidnap her for illegal personal use or perhaps she was targeted by a dark organization for a nefarious plot? I believe the third option has more evidence to support it."

Talerian was now curious as he asked, "How so?"

B.O.B. replied, "Your sister has documentation of a very large intelligence at a young age. Also the doctor said she was being transported via cryo stasis and in decent health aside from the sickness she was healed from. Then the mention of the slaves being sent to terraform a planet adds to the theory."

Talerian replied, "But that could be a lie."

B.O.B. said, "True Master but my theory is still supported that your sister Aello Maxx was kidnapped with other talented individuals to create a new world. What if the purpose is to create an ideal world of loyal talented individuals. It does sound like something one with a lot of power would do correct?"

Talerian connected the dots and realized this situation just got bigger and might involve the Empire as well. He replied, "Oh wow this just got complicated. Are you sure B.O.B.?"

B.O.B. replied, "That theory is about 60% accurate based on the evidence. I may be able to confirm it by looking for similar cases of gifted children being kidnapped."

Talerian sighed as he was now in over his head he looked at the doctor and asked, "What do you think doc?"
