Mee And Whisp And Safety

Mee began biting through the roof to get down.

And would be greeted by They within the darkness of the building…

Mee wailed and scrambled back up and out.

As he arrived back outside, he would be met with an odd looking bird that stared at him.

“Stop staring at Mee!” Mee ordered.

The bird kept gazing at Mee before letting out a horrid screech and shooting water at him from its mouth.

Mee dodged just in time. He ran away from the bird, screaming in terror.

The bird chased after him…

Mee frantically scrambled down the side of the building.

The moment all the power went out, the bird instantly snatched up Mee and started to fly over the city.

“PUT MEE DOWN!” Mee screamed.

A sharp clawed hand shot up from the darkness and tried to slash at the bird. It narrowly avoided the hit and swooped down between buildings, keeping Mee held in its feet.

“Mee wants to go home.” Mee wept.

The bird swept into the forest and landed on a branch, setting Mee down beside it. It let out a caw and ruffled its feathers.

Mee scrambled away and began scurrying down the tree.

The shadowy creatures, They, instantly went for Mee.

Mee SCREAMED as he ran along the forest floor. “SAVE MEE! HELP! SAVE MEE!”

The shadowy creatures continued to chase Mee. They snapped teeth, slashed claws, but never once hit him. It was like they playing with him.

Mee cried and ran as fast as his little legs would take him.

They would circle around and keep him from going in certain directions, getting him to run in twists and turns throughout the forest.

Mee caught on that They were not letting him go certain ways. He was getting tired and angry. “Stop chasing Mee or Mee will bite you!”

They laughed, knowing his bites would do nothing to something made of smoke.

Mee gnashed his teeth in frustration.

They merely laughed more and started tossing sticks and rocks at Mee.

Mee bit the rocks into pieces and snarled fiercely.

This just spurred them to throw more and more at Mee…

Whisp suddenly swept in with a glowing orb of light and grabbed up Mee. “Damn it! I leave you for one minute and what do you do? Get your ass in trouble again!” She flew up toward the treetops, trying to get them away from the creatures.

“You abandoned Mee!” Purple tears streamed from Mee’s three eyes. He wrapped his forked tail around the ball of light that was Whisp.

Whisp slapped him with her hand. “Don’t fucking touch me!” She snapped and threatened to drop him back into the forest. “All you do is anger everyone!”

“Mee doesn’t want to be dropped!” Mee wailed.

“Then stop being a pest!” Whisp snapped.

“Mee is scared.” Mee sobbed.

“Then stop being a problem.” Whisp stated as she flew toward a tower and sat on it. Tapping a few runes on the side of it, she activated a safe light that surrounded both her and Mee. “We must wait here until sunrise…”

Mee sniffled unhappily.

Whisp kept silent as they waited for sunrise…
