JP - Family helps each other

James bit down on the cigarette in his mouth, not lighting it. “He’s just trying to help, Tzeitel. Family helps each other, after all.”

“Stay out of it, candledick.” Tzeitel was struggling to remember what James had not done in this timeline and was getting a headache.

Ami sniffled.

"Tzeitel" Riley chided.

“Excuse me?” James took the cigarette out of his mouth. “I was just trying to help.”

Klaire frowned at Tzeitel. “Please refrain from calling him that.”

“You started it.” Tzeitel awkwardly muttered to Riley, blushing at Klaire. She took the small bottle of pollen from her pocket and shook it. She felt like her head was going to explode, her mouth felt so dry, she was starting to shake with nervous energy, she wanted moonshine to drink and a treadmill to work out on until she collapsed. But that did not work out well for her last night, or any time really. She did not want to hurt Ami again and she could see that her little sister was upset. She hugged Ami and started to walk towards the cabin with her. “I’m getting some fucking water.”

“Swear jar.” Ami sniffled.

Tzeitel pulled a bill from her wallet, not even looking at the denomination as she handed it over to Ami.

Klaire just sighed and went inside to check on Lotus and Leon.

“Nopeasti, teeskentele, että huonekalut ovat kunnossa!” Piritta ordered the kids as Tzeitel and Klaire, one of them a responsible adult, entered the cabin.

Tzeitel's hands shook as she got a glass of water. Ami took the bottle of pollen from her and carefully measured out a dose for her and mixed it in the water.

"You know James didn't deserve that He's just looking after you" Alex replied as He entered the house.

James stepped inside and walked over to Klaire to help her get Leon and Lotus ready for some sleep. They had been traveling all day and the kids were looking ready to pass out.

“I never asked him to look after me.” Tzeitel said shakily, sipping the pollen water.

"We're family we look after each other" Alex replied "I didn't ask for help when I clearly needed it but you and the others were still there for me."

“I really don’t need a fucking lecture right now.” Tzeitel gave Ami another bill from her wallet, not bothering to look at it either.

"And James doesn't need you snapping at him for trying to help" Alex retorted before sighing"All I'm saying is that he cares about you just like He cares about the rest of us. He'd gladly put himself between you and that monster. I know I'll never be able to understand what you went through but just know we want to help."

Tzeitel set down her empty glass. Ami slipped away to find Cody. Tzeitel was giving off repellent pheromones.

"Look I got to get ready for the raid" Alex sighed "I'm not trying to jinx myself but just know if anything happens I care about you and I just want you to get some help you and Megan have…. Let's just say I wouldn't have gotten this far without you two over the past 5 years."

Tzeitel gave off a stronger wave of repellent pheromones. She stared down at the tabletop.

Alex moved over and hugged her before being overwhelmed and stepping outside.

Klaire grimaced, the pheromones even bothering her and the kids. “Can you stop that?” She groaned and went to a room near the back of the cabin with Leon and Lotus.

James gave Tzeitel a sympathetic look before following Klaire.

With the room cleared, Tzeitel put her head down on the table and buried her face in her arms.

Piritta found Klaire. “So, what happened while I was practicing my Finnish table dance?” She was not going to let Amber take the heat for the broken table.

“Apparently Canestone is back…again.” Klaire said, frowning. “We’re not positive it’s true, but we’re going to stay on guard just to be safe.”

Sadly, River already got Amber to fess up and she is now in time out.

“Oh. I think Tzeitel flooded the kitchen with repellent pheromones.”

“She did,” Klaire said in reply and pulled her hair out of its ponytail, brushing through it as James got the kids to bed. “I understand her fear and frustration over this. No one wants that sick-o back in the living world.”

“Joo… she needs a sauna.” Piritta said. “I worry about her sometimes.” Piritta slipped off to sneak Amber a pulla roll in time out then went outside to join the others out there.

Tzeitel finally pulled herself together enough to pull her phone out of her pocket. It was late, but she had promised Ami that she would call Leimomi today when she got a chance… and this literally was the first chance she had all day. Of course she got Leimomi’s voicemail. “Hi it’s Tzeitel… can you call me back when you get this, please?” Tzeitel sighed and hung up. She switched off her repellent pheromones. She still wanted to run but at least she stopped driving everyone away.
