Absorbed Tzeitel's trauma when she used her powers on her.

History

Was born approximately one year after Tzeitel was given to MegaCorps by her own parents. Like Tzeitel, Ami was neglected and abused, someimes when Ami’s parents were really mad and/or drunk they would call her “Sidel”.

Ami grew up not knowing she had an older sister and without Tzeitel knowing she existed, until two evil metas wanting to catch Tzeitel and her friend plotted to kidnap Ami to use as bait. Tzeitel and her friends caught wind of the plot and rescued Ami from the would-be kidnappers and her abusive parents.

Ami has been living with Tzeitel and her friends ever since.

Used her powers to find out how Colt was attacked by Thrane. Also accidentally found out that Colt had kissed Tzeitel by touching her sister while her powers were activated.
Recently captured by Thrane and Jaxon.

Absorbed information from Jaxon. What Ami learned was traumatizing, so as a 'favor' Thrane had Ami's memories erased of what she had learned about Jaxon- but she was still terrified of him.
Befriended a fox-eared boy named Nine. Colt traded himself to Thrane for Ami to be sent back to the Underground. Nine was taken to the Underground with Ami and is now basically Ami's brother.
Weeks later Tzeitel was rescued and returned to the Underground. Ami could tell that Tzeitel had been further traumatized, but Tzeitel had pulled herself together enough to throw Ami a wonderful birthday party. Tzeitel was doing so well during and after the party that Ami thought that her wish would come true- that everyone could get to be happy.
Unfortunately Tzeitel was abducted again that very night.
When Tzeitel was returned she was out of her mind, attacking Colt and accusing him of raping her. Fearing that she was going to lose Tzeitel, Ami touched her and used her power to absorb everything about Tzeitel. The trauma and information overload caused Ami to have a seizure.
By the time Ami came to, the Underground had been destroyed and she was being taken to an old bunker. Ami filled many notebooks with writing and drawings of what she had absorbed from Tzeitel, trying to make sense of it all. It's confusing, but Ami now understands Tzeitel better than anyone, including Tzeitel herself. Ami had also absorbed the memories MegaCorp had erased.
When Cody made up his mind to heal Tzeitel, Ami went with him and was able to convince Tzeitel to let him heal her. Ami has shown Tzeitel the notebooks because they concern her and thinks Tzeitel should be able to know what her erased memories were. Ami was surprised to realize that Tzeitel's erased memories were still effecting her, that part of her self destruction and not letting Cody help her was from her repressed guilt at Klaire being so badly abused while Tzeitel was left relatively unharmed, and not stopping the abuse (even though Tzeitel was unable to help Klaire any of those times back then). For a while Ami and Cody had schemed to erase Tzeitel's memories of Canestone to help her but can now see that will not help.
