Ruins of Buckley Village- The Seamstress Shop

Lek went to his sister’s room first. It had been raided, he had only found a few small things worth saving that he could fit in his pockets. He hesitated before going into Pinja’s room. The room that was Pinja’s room. She had not been in it since the morning of the raid and was not ever going back to it. That was the point of Lek going over his sister’s shop and rooms, so Millie and Pinja would not ever have to return here.Maybe it would be easier if Lek stopped thinking of it as Pinja's room. It still felt like an invasion of privacy to go into that room, he had never gone into it before, he was not welcome there, no guys were ever welcome in there. Of course the raiders did not care about being welcome.

Lek clenched his jaw and went into the room. Like Millie’s room, it had been thoroughly ransacked. But he had been able to find a few books that were mostly intact, and oddly, a stuffed toy cat. Lek did not know how it had ended up in Pinja’s room but he collected it with the books.

Then he went downstairs and back outside. He was supposed to clean the place out, but after what he had seen, he needed some fresh air.
