Ripley risked a peek at him just to see if he had reacted. She couldn’t tell by his face so she looked away hoping he wouldn’t notice the change in her.
Conice tightened his jaw, his body going rigid and stiff as he tried very hard to not move and breath like a normal person. God get a grip ass whole! . he mentally yelled at his self. It was a shoulder! In a public space! Embarrassed by the way he reacted to her and afraid she might notice he stood up, maybe a little too fast, and walked across the room to pretend to look at something on the shelf.
Oh great I freaked him out! I touched him without permission and made him mad! she wanted to crawl in a whole and die..again. For real this time. The kids came back out dressed in their normal clothes and looked at them for a moment. “ why you guys being weird?” Reece asked making her blush a little. Robby raised a brow at them. “ I dunno what you’re talkin about.” Conice said turning to face them again. “Rights!” Riley said jumping up and clapping her hands. “Last stop laser tag!” She said and marched ahead of the group out of the store. The kids followed after with comics bring up the rear and also wishing he could die for real.
