Shop hand

Rico smiled back at her. When he finish stocking the self he was working on he walked over to the register counter. pulling out the drawer on the counter in front of it, which had become a catch all, dug around and pulled out a small white pin that said shop hand. Using a sharpie from the same drawer he wrote her name on it then handed it to her.
“ there now it’s official, well not really you would have to sign all the application forms for that. Which we can do if you want. Or. We can just wear that and we can say it’s official and I’ll pay you under the table or in room and board.” She shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly “ how ever” he finished sitting down at the counter. A little old man came in and looked around, bought a can and drink and left. Rico watched him go out the window also scanning the street as he did.
