Invisible Borders
JP with mdman and Cindy
The bald-headed, tan skinned, 5'10" man waited for Ch’Truta. He had been an advisor since the last Sister. Walking the sands of time on this world for more than 160 seasons. He had learned some things in his time.
Aguzul knew Sisters sometimes took lovers, it was certainly not unheard of. However, what had been going on between Sister Locust and Ch'Truta was unprecedented, like so much with the new Leader. Aguzul knew it was not his place to question Sister Locust in such matters but he certainly could speak to Ch'Truta about it.
Ch’Truta walked from Islana’s tent. He was concerned for the burden placed upon her from the Twins. When there were this many involved going into battle, could this heavy cost be averted? Ch’Truta didn’t expect losing little. How much is much?
He peered at Aguzul, the look of concern upon his face. “We must do all we can to ensure the cost is not heavy,” he spoke to the wise man.
"Yes, we must." Aguzul agreed. "I do believe that Sister Locust would want to do this whether or not the vision had been given."
The man paused as if contemplating something. Amastan and Izdärasen could be seen headed off in the opposite direction. Aguzul spoke up again. "It seems to usually be the ones with more status tend to find their way more towards the front of the Horde. The ones most likely to need things are more towards the back. Sister Locust doesn't like anyone to be forgotten. I believe we should start in the back and make our way forward."
The Horde was an extremely large encampment but it was still an encampment. It had boundaries, guards which patrolled said boundaries. Not to keep people in, as they were free to leave if they chose. Embarrassment and dishonor by their septs or the people of Grast not withstanding. The guards were there to protect against outside forces. So, there was an almost circular boarder and an area in the front and back that cut the two sides of that circle in half. Invisible as those lines were, they existed. Aguzul was certainly aware of them.
