The Chase
Silina had slipped out from the back area of the square, right as the rain started. The young woman had seen enough. The foreigner had been the one to make it through the trials and become the Prophetess. What more did she need to know?
If it had been Madaya, she might have stayed and become a priest of The Wandering. As it was she just couldn't bring herself to serve the Helian born redhead.
Figuring out what to do next, Tarmen came to mind. He couldn't be that hard to find as the man would likely stick out. He though could be anywhere. The Ozanine would look for a short time before asking around.
As luck would have it, the search didn't take long as a man almost ran into her as she got ready to turn a corner. Her brown eyes looked up to find the person she was looking for.
No sooner had a smile graced her lips, when the sight of arrows flying in their direction caught her line of sight.
"Run," Silina shouted.
She followed him, as the people shooting at them gave chase. Around corners, and down alleyways. At one point, Silina stepped out into the street, moved her hands in a circular motion, and her eyes flashed a bright light into the night sky. The swirling mass of sand was thrown towards the archers which blinded them briefly.
The woman picked up speed and soon enough was back behind Tarmen. Hopefully, the sand bought them a little more time.
