Yep, those Brotherhood fellas really did have a feel of Inquisition, Ozainae style.

But as she heard his reinforcements approaching from behind, she silently agreed with her quarry on one thing.
If she was going down, she was gonna make it cost them.

With an undefined number of enemies behind her, and only one in front of her for now, plus a potential ally, there was no question which direction she was going to move.

It didn’t come as a terrible surprise how nimble those guys were, their choice of weaponry had told her as much before. It was a pretty interesting change of pace for her. Back in Helias, most of the time, she had been the party to have to rely on agility against physically stronger and better armored opponents. Seems she was getting to take the forceful part this time around.

She drew a dagger with her offhand and closed in on the assassin, making use of the reach of her sword and a series of feints and stabs to keep his attention on her. She would inevitably take hits, she knew, but her gambeson should take off some of the edge. So time to find out if the man with the arrow in his arm wanted to get in on the fun.
