Pilgrimage of Bones

Islana and Madaya continued north, avoiding climbing big dunes when they could. The young girl kept glancing back over her shoulder as if fearful they were being followed.

At some point she noticed Islana's falcon flying circles above their heads, up in the clear blue skies, as if escorting the two on their journey.
The young girl pointed up to Kaithak and said, "Zow!" and smiled up at the young huntress.

Later in the day when the sun was at its highest Madaya stopped Islana pointing at her scarf as well as her own heading covering. She pointed at the water skin.

Unsure what to do she gave the girl some water who simply moistened her lips with a small gulp. She had dropped some water Ron her scarf before placing it back around her head and face and urging Islana to do the same...
