JP with Lucian, Winteroak and Bandorchu
"I heard nothing of an expedition to Sentinel." He said looking at Tarmen curiously. "Not many people in Arcadia would dare such a feat. All we know is that the natives are extremely aggressive and once in a while launch raids for slaves along the south coast." He explained. "There are rumours of another race in the island. Secluded in the Southern reaches of Sentinel but very little is known about them. Save that many say they don't originate from here."
Tarmen grunted, appearing to wave off the superstition. In reality he was very interested now.
As far as he had found, their little trip to the island meant they knew more than most of the natives.
He also didn’t want to open up about this fact, unsure of what their reaction would be.
He did slightly regret being rid of the head now. Would have made for an interesting entrance to the town. Speaking of, a weariness had settled on him slowly since they had reached Desdem.
“Well, then I hope those poor bastards had a quick end and took many with them.”
He looked over the desert for a moment, also noting Alexis’s continued silence. They definitely needed a night of decent rest.
“You have my gratitude for the water. Perhaps some trade would be good before we find a place to rest?”
Alexis looked up again, joining Tarmen in his expression of gratitude for the hospitality.
“Indeed. Say… we were hoping to find passage to Gra’akast. Would you know if that is possible here?”
Zargari eyes widen again in surprise at the request but mentioned nothing about the other two Helians they had encountered and helped secure passage to the Holy City almost a week ago.
Seemed to him that the people from Ostiarium were very interested in travelling to the Ozainae capital.
"A caravan departed almost a week ago to the Holy City." He explained. "Another is not due to arrive in another week, maybe longer due to the sandstorm." He paused unsure if he would be able to help in securing passage. His people were due to leave tomorrow. "We always welcome trade." He continued with a smile drinking his own water. "But passage in the caravan might need to be arranged with the merchants or the villagers. We are leaving tomorrow to Fort Aramat in western Fang."
One week at least… quite some time to kill. Unfortunate that these people would have to leave soon, they certainly could have used such a skilled translator. Ifrinn, they might need the time to get across what they wanted and to acquire necessary provisions.
“Thank you for letting us know. We don’t really have deserts in Helias… can you tell us a bit about it? What would you suggest we need?”
