Travel companion

Nataya smiled as she lowered the ends of her woven shirt and let a handful of ripe fruits drop to the ground. Her beloved companion, a young doe, cautiously emerged from some near by trees and sniffed the treasures before happily digging in. Nataya sat in front of her, cross legged, eating a small share. "Fruit." She said slowly as she closed her eyes and fully appreciated the natural sweetness.
