Rave On - Enter the Billy Goats
It felt like decades since Mal frequented the underground in Tokyo - when he had a choice to make about buckling down, taking his tasks more seriously. If it was just Katsu - that was one thing, but Kimura had spoken to him as well, and Kimura could pretty much tell him to step in front of a train and he would - he had that much faith in the Team Lead.
“The squad needs someone to look up to, a role model - you think you’re that person?” She’d asked. He didn’t. He didn’t see himself as leadership material at all, until they nearly lost Cain on a mission. It was a wake up call. Less goofing around, more serious training.
So it felt good to paint faces and rip up tee shirts to wear. They were there on business, he could keep his head in the game, his dick in his pants even though half the girls there wore little more than strategically placed body tape and pasties. p some tee shirts, even if they did have work to do.
“I feel like a clown.” Dogo said strait out the gate.
“To late to turn back Bozo. Seriously loosen up!” Cain said prodding his brother mercilessly. “You look FINE.”
“Trust me,” Mal said, eyeing a girl walking by wearing a bright pink skirt held up by thick black suspenders and absolutely nothing else. “No one is looking at you, bruh.”
“Sooo whats the mission again?” Cain asked eyebrows up eyes roving over the dancers and the creative slips of cloth that passed for clothing.
“You both need shock collars.” Dogo said dryly.
“And you, little brother,” Mal scoffed. “Need to loosen up. We’re here about the drugs. Look around, mingle, see if you can find whose selling.”
“Yea! Mingle!” Cain shoulder bumped Dogos making his brother stumble as he cackled shuffling into the crowd of people.
“Yea, nothing bad can come of this. At all.” Dogo said taking a deep breath.
“After everything this? This is what scares you?” Mal tsked. .
“I never said I was scared. I said I feel like a clown and …” Doggo waved at the mess of bodies a loud music. “... all this … I’m just saying your going to end up carrying Cain home.” He pause. “I already know what your going to say it’ me. I’m going to be carrying Cain home. If we can find him again.”
“I will leave both your sorry asses,” Mal said with a smile. “Look, it’s not rocket science. They sell out in the open, try and get an image so Kimura can ID. And if you have a little fun in between, it won’t kill you.”
“You don’t know that.” Dogo snarked sauntering in trying not to look like he was kid doing a chores.
