Skye Life: Click

It was a decent turnout, near wall to wall people. The redhead chuckled watching his sister scamper off further proof how they were all related Mathias barely had time to turn around, when Click sauntered up, arms held out in front and to the sides. “Hey man,” he said over the music. “We good, bro?”

Mathias' smile dropped when he saw Click. “No. We're not. Don’t ever come to my house again. Ever. And stay away from my sisters.” He said jabbing his finger at the man's chest before brushing past him.

“I didn’t know it was gonna go down like that!” Click said, chasing after him. “Dude said he had a proposition for you, could mean you getting some of the East Side. I thought I was hooking you up! Look, you know me, come on.”

“Knew. I knew you. You brought a stranger to my door and he busted into my house and demanded my business.” He turned grabbing a fist full of Click’s shirt, dragging him in close. “Do you know what I value more than anything? More than drugs, girls, money, hell … my damned rep? I would burn it all for my family and you put them right in the line of fire you sonofabitch.” He growled with narrowed eyes before letting go. “You're radioactive now.”

“It ain’t like that. Come on man, you think I would put Kitty Cat or Cottontail in harm’s way? It was a good offer look, your shit is good, but you’re a one man show, bro. We need to branch out, you do one rave a night, think how much you could get with six, seven a night?”

“Think? You did put them in harm's way. They're in harm’s way now! Because of you! Click you fucked up hard.” Mathias said, still walking away. “I ain’t out to build a drug empire I’m out to pay the bills. Stop ‘trying to help’.” The dealer said with a dramatic air quote. “Cuz now all you done is made me even more paranoid than I already am! Thanks for that!”

Click was going to tell him he was making a mistake - but there was no point. The Candy Man was stubborn as hell.
