Conspiracy or Real?

Alyssa listened to the report, and heard Sartre's question. "I will talk about that in a minute." The hacker then added, "When I looked up Crouch End, a few interesting things came up. The murders and disappearances in the report were nicknamed "The Highgate Vampire" crimes. There are two powerful ley lines that run under the clock tower. The site of the clock tower is where a wooden cross used to sit." There was more, "Rodger Bolingbroke - executed for witchcraft in 1441 - he's somehow connected to Crouch End."

The hacker turned her screen around, and showed the flowchart she had been sent. "This is what I was sent yesterday at the theater.”

"As you can see, The Seven Clans are mentioned, as are Vampire Nuns." She paused. "Encrypted in the CD was this message. 'Lodin, we don't have much time. Skorzeny's planning something like Crouch End. If someone does not do something both our cities will be destroyed.' Prince Modius of Gary, of the Clan Toreador.”

Agent Powers looked at the picture and gave it a smolder as he said, "This looks like one of conspiracy plans I find in the secret base of a nut job."

Ekaterina was perplexed as she replied, "This is an odd connection for these topics. Either this is a big conspiracy or the fabrication of a very troubled person or group. The other troubling thing is the lack of bodies. Aren't vampires supposed to drain the blood of their victims?"

Agent Powers nodded as he replied, "The lady claiming to be a vampire did kill her victim in front of me, so that does make sense." Agent Powers gave Ekaterina a smolder.

"If they didn't want to be caught, I doubt they'd leave bodies just lying around." Alyssa commented. After all, no one ever said vampires were stupid.

Choi answered, “The victims become vampires.”

Dahlia studied the chart. “Wait a minute! The Masons? They are offshoots of the Templars. Don’t you think we’d know if there was a vampire presence there?”

Princess Ekaterina elegantly looked at the picture and rubbed her chin for a spell then replied, "There are rumors I heard from my mentor that long long long ago among the Templars, Illuminati and Dragons, that there was some internal conflicts and as a result some small groups splintered off. However they were also hunted down to prevent future conflicts. It could be possible a few splinter groups survived because they got turned into vampires. We would need more evidence to confirm or deny the possibility. The other option is that they were not the real Masons and a false group using the same name.”

"How much do any of us know about Vampires? I will admit, this isn't a subject I'm well versed on." Alyssa responded. "I found a college, of sorts, that might have more information. It's about an hour from here, in Palatine, Illinois. Harper College has a paranormal activity department. I can tap into their database, see if I can find anything." She looked down at her phone. "Coffee's here. Max, can you help me get it?" Alyssa stood up, and went to retrieve the drinks.
