The Library

So, Choi and Dahlia departed the hotel and followed the GPS in the Veloster to the library. On the way, Choi talked about life being raised in the monastery. Dahlia countered with life growing up in Tel Aviv. Choi realized that he grew up in a safer place, although there was always threat looming from the north.

As they pulled up to the library parking lot, it was evident that the place was closing soon. Not many vehicles were in the lot. Choi questioned whether they should return during business hours. Dahlia reminded Choi that Kolchak said to meet him at night. Choi and Dahlia both assumed this guy was Tony, whom Kolchak mentioned at the bar.

Both got out of the vehicle. Both had guns concealed in the back of their pants. Choi still had his nunchucks and throwing stars as well. They began to cover the area outside of the library.

The library is a crumbling structure, there are gargoyles sitting atop the roof. They are stone structures of the macabre. As they enter the library, they saw a young man sitting across the room at one of the reading tables. There was a fire in a fireplace across from him. He had several books laying on the table.

“John Shepherd?” Dahlia questioned. “I thought the name of the guy we were looking for was Tony Vencenzo?”

Choi held up a hand to quiet Dahlia. “We got word to meet you here from Kolchak.”

"Have I got a story for you. So I studied in Indiana University. I was looking into an old manuscript of Bram Stoker's Dracula, one night when returning to the dorms, A mysterious gentleman approached me. Within seconds I was unconscious."

Choi nodded about the identity of Kolchak. “No, we are not, but we have offered to help him,” Choi said.

“We understand you were seeking goddesses at the theater this morning,” Dahlia added. “We know the place is haunted. We were wondering if you could fill us in on the story. You seemed to know what you were looking for.”

"Oh, that's a part of my story. I guess you could say she was a goddess. but let me get there."

Choi shook his head in disbelief. “So, you are saying you are a vampire. That’s why you were unconscious? That’s why we can only meet you at night?”
