The Great Escape

Police Station - Sheridan, Wyoming

Finlay's heart raced as he heard the sudden eruption of gunfire outside the interrogation room. Panic shouts and chaos filled the air, and for a moment, the EAST agents were distracted, their attention drawn toward the unfolding assault in the police station. That moment was all he needed.

His transformed, smaller frame had made the cuffs loose, and as the agents headed towards the door to investigate the commotion, he managed to slip free. Fear and confusion gripped him as the door swung open suddenly, revealing a whirlwind of violence as Lydia, in a daring rescue, dispatched the agents with ruthless efficiency.

As Finlay, now in the form of Lydia, lay sprawled on the floor behind the table, he couldn't quite comprehend what had just happened. He believed his end was near, and the shock of Lydia's sudden appearance only added to his confusion.

When the realization finally hit that it was Lydia who had come to the rescue, he tentatively took her hand, trembling with relief. He tentatively got up and cautiously made his way out of the interrogation room to follow her.

As he ventured through the station, witnessing the aftermath of Lydia's actions and the injured bodies left in her wake, Finlay couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "Holy shit." He was both amazed and terrified by the extent of what Lydia had done to save him.
