JP - Canestone can't be back again

Klaire walked outside with James, setting her hands on her hips. “What’s going on? Why do I smell Loreen, Riley?” She asked, looking toward Colt’s car. “Get him to come over here!” She called.

Colt sighed heavily and grabbed up Piritta’s shirt. Getting out, he pocketed his keys and handed the shirt over to Tzeitel. “She left this in my car…”

“Of course she did.” Tzeitel sighed, taking the shirt. “It’s a wonder she kept it on as long as she did.”

"That's because I found her on the side of the road injured, confused, and having memory loss" Riley explained to the others "which could explain something else." Taking A sigh he looked to Tzeitel "I just got Mark apparently Kiana ran into a Canestone clone. His working theory is that they preserved his DNA before we killed him last time but he's looking into it to make sure. This can't be a coincidence that we also found Loreen. I'm guessing someone tried to dispose of her and is using her research."

“That explains the smell of blood,” Klaire replied, crossing her arms. “But…why? Didn’t they always like her work? Having her do the dirty work?”

“Maybe she became a liability.” James suggested as Colt and Tzeitel walked over.

"What few files Mark could find on her it was obvious a lot of people were unhappy with how untouchable she was" Riley replied

Colt just chuckled slightly. “Yeah,” He said to Tzeitel and went to the others, hearing everything. “So, Loreen’s in there? And she is not…coocoo?”

“Wait- what the fuck did you just say about a Canestone clone?” Tzeitel demanded. Her mouth was dry, she felt like throwing up, her heart was pounding.

"Easy Tzeitel" Alex replied, reaching out to help steady her before looking at Riley.

"I was just making this up but I'm not" Riley replied in an apologetic tone "but remember we beat him before we can beat him again."

Tzeitel shook her head, feeling really far away, stepping away from Alex. “We killed him twice already… We have dealt with this bastard enough already… He can’t come back. We burned him.” She knew she was having a panic attack, the first one in years, but as usual was in denial.

Klaire walked over to Tzeitel. “Remember to breathe, Tzeitel.” She said, touching her friend’s arm. “It’s going to be okay.”

“This is just great…” Colt groaned and pushed his hair back. His mind was already working out whatever he could do to keep Tzeitel safe from this Canestone clone. He made a promise to protect her and he would not break it.

James shook his head. “This isn’t good, but we have an advantage, at least. They don’t know we know…”

"Exactly we can expect him no matter how many times they bring him back we'll put him back in the ground" Alex growled. He may not have been around when Canestone was alive last but he remembered what Susi and Megan had told him about the monster.

Tzeitel forced herself to take slow deep breaths like Klaire had taught her that day in RIver’s cottage after escaping MegaCorp. She looked at Klaire, clearly terrified. “It can’t be true…” She said, her voice pleading.

"I can't give you any proof of whether it is or isn't true, Tzeitel, but we're here for you. All of us are." Klaire explained, giving her that sisterly smile.

Colt and James nodded in agreement as both Megan and Annie gave her thumbs ups. Even River was agreeing with it.

"You're safe here." She said

"We're family here and we look after each other just like Alex said it doesn't matter how many times they bring him back we'll put them back in the ground" Riley replied"but we also have another major problem Loreen, she's not the one behind it that means someone has her playbook and I don't like that she was predictable we don't know who this person is or what lines they're willing to cross."

Tzeitel decided to sit on the ground. Her mind was racing. "Kiana only saw him once… maybe it's a mistake. Maybe she saw her brother and thought it was Canestone." Tzeitel had mistaken Sorley for Canestone, she still felt bad for attacking him but he looked so much like his father she felt like it was Canestone every time she saw Sorley until he started dying his hair. Tzeitel was desperate for this to not be true. So much of her recovery in the past five years was based on Canestone being gone, never hurting her or anyone else ever again.

“As far as I’m aware, Sorley still dyes his hair red.” Megan informed them in a calm tone. “I talk to Gelf on the phone every now and then and she says he hasn’t let his hair go back to its natural color in five years.”

“Maybe he got sick of dying it red and decided to dye it back.” Tzeitel clutched at straws. “Has anyone else seen this Canestone clone? Maybe Kiana got into drugs and hallucinated.”

"Mark is looking into it, for now it's best to be cautious and assume that he's back" Riley replied "for now we need to rest. Gelf and them we'll be joining us for the prison break so you can ask them soon enough."

Megan sighed, knowing Tzeitel was in denial.
