JP - It's time to settle down

Cody and Klaire just stared at the cat woman in shock.

"Lyle sent us his file" Alex elaborated "The doctor that delivered you and Ryan faked his death in order to sell him to Megacorp, apparently they were doing that a lot with twins back in the day when they were testing for the meta gene." Pulling up a photo he passed it around for everyone to see.

Tzeitel looked at the photo. “Well, shit. It looks like what an evil Riley would look like with a beard.”

“Swear jar.” Ami whispered, wiping tears away.

"Sorry Tzeitel but Megan called dibs" Alex joked before looking at his cousin " you ok?"

"Yeah it's just a lot to take in" Riley spoke sitting down and staring at the photo.

Klaire went over to Riley and sat next to him, patted his shoulder gently. “It’ll be okay…we’re gonna help as many of them as we can.”

Cody chuckled. “Swear jar.” He repeated.

“Seriously, Alex?” Megan grumbled and let out a slew of swear words as she put a bunch of quarters in the swear jar.

“At least I’m not putting Ami through college alone.” Tzeitel dropped some coins in the jar. “Need pheromones for the occasion, Riley?”

"I'll be fine Tzeitel but thanks" he replied looking over to Klaire "I know it's just weird always felt like there's a part of me missing I always just thought it was because he was dead. I just feel bad for him. He spent his whole life locked up never knowing our parents, Alex, or anyone else. He doesn't even know he's an uncle."

“He’ll find out when we save him.” Klaire said as she watched Tzeitel and Megan fill the swear jar up.

Amber made her way over to Riley and hugged him. “It’s okay, daddy…” She said with a sweet smile.

Riley smiled and picked up his daughter, kissing her on the head. "You're right Sweety it will be." Looking at the others he began to speak I've been thinking once we rescue Susi and the others I think it's time for us to head up Frisk for a checkup and then maybe find a place to settle down for a while even if it's just camping in the woods. All of us have been running ragged these 5 years. I think it's time for us to relax for a bit."

Tzeitel pulled her kids down on the couch with herself, she still felt terrible for making Ami cry. “Settling down sounds good, it would feel good to sleep in the same place for a week in a row. It’ll be good to see Frisk too.”

“I’d love to see Aunt Frisk.” Cody said with a smile. “Do you wanna see Aunt Frisk, Ami?”

Klaire smiled and nodded. “That would be nice…” She admitted before yawning.

"We should all get some rest" Riley replied " we do have a prison to assault."

“I want to see Frisk.” Ami nodded, though she was thinking more about how Frisk could help Tzeitel. Also Ami thought she might be able to learn more from Frisk than she had from Riley.

It looked like that the ‘talk’ Riley had suggested was forgotten, to Tzeitel’s relief. “Sleep sounds great. Cody- please tell me you have a room key.”

Klaire got up and smiled. “I’m going to get some rest with the kids and James. Sleep well, guys.” She said and left the room. In this case, she really was going to get some rest. They just had to get the kids to sleep, too.

Cody nodded and held up his room key. “Never leave the room without it.” He told her.

“Great, I don’t know where Piritta is and I accidentally kicked my key under the door.” Tzeitel said, and called “Night!” After Klaire.

Ami looked at Cody.

Piritta returned with a black eye and a small suitcase full of money. She looked pleased with herself.

Cody smiled at Ami and blinked when Piritta walked in. “Uh…what happened to you?” He asked.

“Nothing.” Piritta said cheerfully.

Tzeitel looked at Riley, he usually caught on to what Piritta was up to before anyone else.

"Nothing to worry Tzeitel" Riley replied laying down a sleeping Amber "just a hobby of hers."

“A hobby? What the fuck kind of hobby?” Tzeitel tossed a coin in the swear jar.

“It’s just cage fighting. Relax Tzeitel.” Piritta said. “You really need a sauna.”

“Sauna sounds nice…” Cody muttered with a sigh. “They don’t have a good one here.”

River walked over and picked up Amber. “It’s time for you to get to bed. “Hey, Piritta and everyone. Get some good sleep!”

Cage fighting… well it was not as bad as Tzeitel thought. But still. “Night everyone.” Tzeitel sighed, heading for the door.

“Joo. I’ll get another good sauna someday.” Piritta told Cody, waving to River, Riley and Amber.
